Click the named river
The name of a river appears: click its course on the map.
10 questions per game, 100 points at most. Help halves the points.
Click the course of the river asked for, zone by zone
In this geography game, the name of a river appears, and you have to click on its course among the other rivers of the zone, all visible on the map. The Nile, the Amazon, the Danube, the Mississippi and the Yangtze are among the 66 rivers offered. Locating a watercourse on the world map helps you remember where it flows, not just its name. The game can be played on Europe, Africa, Asia, North and Central America, South America or the whole world.
A game has ten questions by default, with the choice of twenty, fifty or All questions in the zone. Each correct click earns 10 points, and a wrong answer earns 0. The hint shows a circle on the map that contains part of the river, but it halves the points. After the answer, the correct river appears in green and, if you were wrong, the river you clicked in red. The record is saved in the browser for each zone, and the game suits students as well as people revising.

Frequently asked questions
- What happens after a wrong answer?
- The correct river appears in green, and the river you clicked in red, which shows the mistake. The question then earns 0 points. The game carries on with the next question until the end of the game.
- How does the hint work?
- The hint shows a circle on the map that contains part of the river asked for. It halves the points for the question, and the "I don't know" button skips the question.
- Is the game free and without sign-up?
- Yes. It is free, with no account needed. The record is saved in the browser, for each game and each zone. A free account, which is optional, adds the Elo ranking, spaced review of missed questions and friends.
- Which zones are available for rivers?
- Rivers can be played on Europe, Africa, Asia, North and Central America, South America, or the whole world. Each zone has its own record in the browser, and a game has ten questions by default, that is 100 points for ten questions.
