Cookie policy

1. What is essential for the site to work

These items do not require consent, because the site cannot work without them. They are not used to track you or for advertising.

• your login session and profile information, kept in the browser as long as you stay signed in;
• your display theme choice (light or dark);
• your daily goal, the time you spend playing and your streak of days, kept in the browser and never sent to our servers;
• the identifier of your participation in a live game or a duel, kept for the lifetime of the tab;
• your choice regarding audience measurement and advertising cookies, stored by Google's consent message (Google LLC).

2. Audience measurement (subject to your consent)

If you accept, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics, which sets cookies (for example _ga and _ga_*) in order to measure traffic on the site: pages viewed, visit duration, device type, origin. This data is used only to improve Mnemoz. Their lifetime does not exceed 13 months.

If you decline, none of these cookies is set.

3. Advertising (subject to your consent)

Mnemoz is free and may display advertising, for example through Google AdSense. These services may set or read cookies on your device to show ads suited to your interests, limit how often an ad is repeated and measure its performance.

These cookies are only used with your consent. If you decline, no advertising cookie is set and any ads shown are not personalized.

You can also manage your advertising preferences with Google: adssettings.google.com.

4. Managing your choices

You can change your choice at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings; some features (staying signed in, for example) may then stop working.
